Transforming Martins of Andover: A year in the making

We partnered with Martins of Andover to completely transform their premises through a two phase redevelopment. Acting as principal contractor, we managed every stage from initial design and structural works to the final finishes.

Over the course of a year, our in-house carpenters remained on site full-time, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout.

Phase 1: structural transformation

We began by safely removing the existing canopy, carrying out the dismantling with minimal disruption. Our team then completed all groundworks and steelworks in-house, maintaining full control over quality and efficiency.

Next, we designed and built a bespoke showroom, tailored to the customer’s brand image and functional needs.

PHASE 2: EXPANSION & FIT OUT

We gutted the external walls to make way for the redesign, then constructed a second showroom featuring high spec joinery and premium detailing to create an elevated customer experience.

We also built a purpose built MOT bay and workshop, designed for both efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Finally, we installed new cladding to boost insulation and give the building a fresh, modern look.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE

This complex build brought together up to 20 specialist trades, from groundwork teams to mechanical installers. Our 4 full time carpenters worked on site every day, ensuring our joinery and carpentry met the highest standards.

Coordinated closely with all subcontractors and suppliers.

Maintained rigorous quality control at every stage.

Guided the design to deliver both style and efficiency.

The completed redevelopment delivered a sleek, modern and highly functional facility for Martins of Andover. The new showroom, MOT bay and workshop improved operational efficiency while exceeding the customer’s expectations.
