PROVIDING A GREAT SPACE FOR COOKING AND ENTERTAINING

Our customer wanted to create a fully functional bespoke open planned kitchen dining area and matching utility room with a very simple and minimalist style.

Project Build and Details

EVERY DETAIL COUNTS

Our talented team designed, manufactured and installed this bespoke kitchen and utility room in house.

The project consisted of a knock through opening the area up with new electrics and plumbing and installation of new flooring. We also converted an unused space into a fully functional utility room.

THE KITCHEN DESIGN

Neutral based Shaker style cabinets where installed. The customer chose contrasting colour fronts in white and grey providing a space enhancing feel. Plenty of storage was created by including a mixture of shelving units and draws. Integrated appliances including a chrome microwave and black and chrome double oven were installed helping to create a seamless space.

WORKTOPS

The work tops and upstands are Corian, which work well in kitchens as they are non-porous. Making them stain-resistant and easy to keep clean. The worktops also incorporate the integrated kitchen sink.

UTILITY ROOM

The utility room was designed as a laundry and mudroom combination. The style consists of matching elements of the kitchen. The same style shaker cabinets and Corian worktops were used. The positioning of the washing machine and tumble dryer create plenty counter space to sort and fold clothes and let in plenty of natural light. The room has also been equipped with a unique dog wash station perfect for your four-legged friends.

LIGHTING

We added customised under counter and under shelf LED lighting. LED lighting adds ambience, emphasises your decor and saves energy reducing household bills.

FINISHING TOUCHES

To complete the room, Chrome brushed switches and cabinet handles were added along with a beautiful white vertical radiator and mirrored splash back.

THE STYLE OF YOUR KITCHEN

Depending on the theme of your kitchen will depend on the style of cabinet you choose. The colour palette that you will choose whether it be neutral or bold. Matt or gloss finish etc.

THE LAYOUT OF YOUR KITCHEN

whether it be a one wall kitchen, an L shaped, U shaped or Island kitchen. Depending on the space that is available choosing the design layout is essential in creating the theme/ concept of your dream kitchen.

THE FUNCTIONS OF THE CABINETS

Creating storage is very important. Choosing how you would like your cabinets to function will help organise your space better. Creating custom cabinets will help to create more organisation options, such as various sizing for different types of items like pots and pans.

HARDWARE

Usually choosing hardware is the last thing to think about but it will impact the theme of the kitchen. You can take a basic style door and spice it up with vintage/ modern handles creating a unique style all of your own.

WORKTOPS

The worktops will highlight your kitchen. There are many different materials that can be used for work tops including Wood, Corian, Granite, laminate etc. Upstands and splash backs are something else to think about.
