OUR CUSTOMER BRIEF

Our customer based in Surbiton, was looking for a space saving solution to add to their office.

They asked for a pull-down bed with a desk built into the design, to maximise the use of the room.

Project Build and Materials

Our clients request comprised of three main components:

Design: To be sleek, handleless and include open shelves in the colour of Farrow and Ball Stiffkey Blue.

Mechanism: To make it easy to pull down and fold up.

Comfort: To accommodate a king size mattress, providing matching comfort to a regular bed.

The Manufacture

Firstly, we created the cut list. The components were then cut to the specified dimensions, and everything was constructed.

Our skilled carpenters crafted each component, paying close attention to every detail. To ensure safety and durability, our experienced team conducted thorough checks on the pull down bed.

Then all components were spray painted and were ready for installation.

Installation

The installation process involved two of our teams and took two days to complete. The pull down bed and desk offered a practical and stylish solution for our customer who wanted to optimise the functionality of their office, without compromising on style.

The push and click mechanism on the bed and drawers create a modern and minimalist look, allowing the bed to blend with the rest of the furniture.

In conclusion, our customer was extremely satisfied with the overall process. The installation of the bespoke pull down bed has created a stylish and sleek bedroom which can now be used for multiple functions.
