Maintaining architectural integrity for period homes

Georgian houses are known for their distinctive architectural features, such as sash
windows, panelled doors, and intricate moldings. Bespoke joinery can replicate or restore these elements, preserving the house’s historical character.
Bespoke joinery also allows for custom millwork, such as cornices, dado rails and skirting boards. These elements can be designed to match the original style of the house, creating a seamless blend between old and new.
Georgian houses often have unique room layouts and proportions. Fitted joinery, such as bespoke wardrobes, bookcases and shelving, and under-stair cupboards will provide innovative storage solutions whilst maintaining the house’s historical style.
We do, of course, also provide bespoke carpentry and joinery services to all types of houses, as well as commercial premises in Farnham.
We invite you to view some of our carpentry and joinery projects in our online galleries.

From our first contact with Timber tech, we had great service. The planning was easily done with alterations and additions along the way. The fitting way is straightforward. we were included in the decisions and they gave good advice. We are really pleased with the fitted wardrobes we had put in and would recommend the team to anyone wanting good quality work in their home or office.

Luke and his team are a pleasure to work with. The communication is excellent and the alcove units and fitted bedroom furniture are of very high quality. The units have transformed our living room and bedroom. We have received many compliments from friends and family about them and would highly recommend Luke and his team. In fact we’ve already commissioned Luke to make another bespoke cabinet.

This is the third piece of work Luke and the team have done for us. Yet again the finished work has exceeded our expectations. Luke created some boot room joinery. The cupboards, with sliding shoe drawers and open panelling with bench look fantastic. Highly recommend.

Timber Technology’s work was of a very high standard and we can highly recommend them. The quality of furniture made off-site was superb and the installation was quick and skilful. Problems we had been having with the floor of the master bedroom were fully resolved and a wooden floor installed, after which the room was completely replastered and decorated.

Timber Technology made my son a bunk bed and a cubby hole return. The quality and professionalism were second to none. A really fantastic product that he really loves! Well done and thank you!

We'd looked at other companies who made bookcases but none offered exactly what we wanted. Timber Technology listened, came up with plans and after discussion and a lot of careful craftsmanship gave us exactly what we asked for. The finish is superb, and they fit the space perfectly. It's really made this small 'library' a very special room. We are delighted!

Peter Cummings

We are absolutely delighted with the drinks cabinet that Timber Technology created for us. We were blown away by their attention to detail and the time they took to discuss and source the materials to finish the cabinet to such a high standard. From start to end the staff were enthusiastic and thoroughly helpful. We would have no hesitation recommending them and hope to use them for another project in our summer house next year!

We are delighted with our new study from Timber Technology. We knew it would be special, but it’s actually exceeded our expectations! The fitters are experts in their field and extremely talented and skilful. All the units slotted in perfectly and the finish was faultless. The process from planning and design to completion was professional but friendly. Timber Technology are a very organised company to work with and whoever you deal with is delightful. Any questions or concerns are dealt with promptly, whether over the phone or face to face. They are patient and supportive and go out of their way to assist you in making the right choices. From my glowing review it is quite obvious that I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are traditional craftspeople and that is clearly shown in the finished product.

Both times we have called upon the services of Timber Tech, we have been very pleased with the results. The crew that were assigned to us Rich, John and their team were always communicative, polite, friendly, professional and very tidy. I would absolutely recommend this company and will use them again if the need was there.

Excellent company not only for their finish and designs but also for the fact they’ve sponsored my son’s football team for the past 2 seasons providing the team with kit, goals, training equipment and coaches uniforms. Can’t highly recommend them enough!
