To complete the design we installed not one but two hidden doors. The first being under the stairs concealing more wine storage (housing the private collection) and another entrance camouflaged in antique stained glass leading to a secret billiards room.

DIFFERENT WINE RACKING METHODS

Different racking methods where used to show case our customers extensive knowledge of wine, these methods included:

The bespoke hardwood wine rack – used for long term storage because horizontal storage helps keep the cork moist which is key to prevent spoilage.

Pull out Wine bottle case shelving – keeping traditional Bordeaux style cases in pristine condition is very important in preserving the value of the wine.

Wine bottle cellar cubes- are very versatile allowing storage of all bottle sizes.

We'd looked at other companies who made bookcases but none offered exactly what we wanted. Timber Technology listened, came up with plans and after discussion and a lot of careful craftsmanship gave us exactly what we asked for. The finish is superb, and they fit the space perfectly. It's really made this small 'library' a very special room. We are delighted!

We are absolutely delighted with the drinks cabinet that Timber Technology created for us. We were blown away by their attention to detail and the time they took to discuss and source the materials to finish the cabinet to such a high standard. From start to end the staff were enthusiastic and thoroughly helpful. We would have no hesitation recommending them and hope to use them for another project in our summer house next year!

We are delighted with our new study from Timber Technology. We knew it would be special, but it’s actually exceeded our expectations! The fitters are experts in their field and extremely talented and skilful. All the units slotted in perfectly and the finish was faultless. The process from planning and design to completion was professional but friendly. Timber Technology are a very organised company to work with and whoever you deal with is delightful. Any questions or concerns are dealt with promptly, whether over the phone or face to face. They are patient and supportive and go out of their way to assist you in making the right choices. From my glowing review it is quite obvious that I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are traditional craftspeople and that is clearly shown in the finished product.

Both times we have called upon the services of Timber Tech, we have been very pleased with the results. The crew that were assigned to us Rich, John and their team were always communicative, polite, friendly, professional and very tidy. I would absolutely recommend this company and will use them again if the need was there.

Excellent company not only for their finish and designs but also for the fact they’ve sponsored my son’s football team for the past 2 seasons providing the team with kit, goals, training equipment and coaches uniforms. Can’t highly recommend them enough!
