Our customer in Fleet, Hampshire, envisioned a bespoke traditional kitchen with modern touches, integrated into an open plan living space.
Their dream was a family-friendly and stylish kitchen ideal for everyday use and entertaining.
The design required standout features, including a utility area, breakfast bar, and open pantry shelving.
design and planning
Our design team began by interpreting the customer’s requirements and translating them into detailed 3D renderings to provide a clear vision of the final outcome.
To accommodate the new layout, we planned several structural changes, ensuring that every square inch of the space was functional and inviting.
Project build & materials
The renovation began with the complete removal of the existing kitchen, including all fixtures and fittings, to make room for the new design. To create a larger, open kitchen-living space, the team knocked through a wall and meticulously planned and installed a structural steel frame to support the upper floor, ensuring both safety and durability.
By removing an unused back door, they extended the kitchen area, optimising the layout for better functionality. Handcrafted cabinetry, painted in Farrow & Ball Hardwick White, maximised storage while preserving a traditional aesthetic. Modern features like open pantry shelving and a functional breakfast bar added both convenience and style.
Durable composite worktops provided a sleek, contemporary finish, while an under mounted butler sink introduced a charming traditional touch. Successfully blending traditional and modern elements required careful attention to detail, resulting in a practical and beautifully designed space.

The result was a beautiful modern masterpiece that exceeded the client’s expectations. The transformed kitchen blends traditional charm with modern functionality, featuring innovative design and impeccable craftsmanship. This renovation not only fulfilled the family’s practical needs but also created a stylish, welcoming space perfect for entertaining.
