Our customer in Romsey, Hampshire, approached us with a clear vision: a bespoke media wall that would blend classic design elements with modern functionality.

The result is a beautifully crafted centrepiece that refines both the style and practicality of their living space.

Design Features

Traditional Shaker Style Cabinetry

The foundation of the design lies in timeless shaker style doors, offering a clean and structured look that suits both classic and modern interiors.

High Quality Finishes

The exterior cabinetry was finished in beautiful Oak veneer, treated with Osmo Hardwax Oil to enhance the natural grain while providing durable protection and a warm, satin sheen.

Premium Internal Materials

Internally, we used Kronospan Gold Harbour Oak board, delivering a rich contrast and a cohesive feel throughout the unit.

Striking Central Feature Wall

At the heart of the design is a brick effect tile backdrop, adding texture and visual interest behind the TV. This detail brings a rustic-industrial charm that anchors the overall composition.

Integrated Electric Fireplace

A sleek electric fireplace was seamlessly integrated, offering both warmth and ambiance, and making the media wall a year round centrepiece.

Ambient Lighting

Soft LED strip lighting was installed behind the TV and along the floating oak shelves, creating a subtle glow that enhances the atmosphere, especially in the evening.

Premium Hardware

The cabinetry is complemented by cast iron knob handles, chosen for their solid feel and traditional character.

The client was thrilled with the final result, a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern functionality. The media wall now serves as a stylish and practical focal point for the living area, housing entertainment systems while providing elegant storage and visual appeal.
