OUR CUSTOMER BRIEF

Our customer in Fleet, Hampshire, who has a passion for modern aesthetics and cutting edge technology, approached us with a unique vision for their living space. They wanted a bespoke media wall unit that seamlessly combined functionality, style and innovation.

The primary features included a light grey finish, a three sided fireplace and integration for a sound bar. Within the design, shelving and cupboard space was also needed.

The client’s vision was to have a focal point in their living room that not only accommodated their entertainment needs but also elevated the overall rooms décor.

Project Build and Materials

Our design team conducted an in depth consultation with the client to understand their preferences, lifestyle and the existing space. With in this period, our talented design team were able to bring our clients ideas to live and create the space that they had been dreaming off. The realistic 3D drawings enabled our client to picture what the end result would look like.

The colours chosen were Purbeck Stone with touches of strong white on the inside of the shelving units, both of which are iconic farrow & ball colours. To enhance the ambiance, a three sided, real wood effect, electric fire was chosen offering warmth and visual appeal and led strip downlights were added.

The media wall unit also offered extensive storage capabilities. Shelve compartments were chosen to enable the ability to showcase the client’s memorabilia and personal possessions. Lower cupboards with push touch mechanisms were also included to complete the overall aesthetics of the room. The cupboards create the ability to hide any unsightly clutter creating the minimalistic appeal. The handleless cupboard doors also add to the simplistic style.

Production and installation

Once the drawings were signed off by our customer, the cut list was created. We then set to work on the full manufacture of the media unit in our Fleet workshop. Our team executed the installation with precision, ensuring that all the components were seamlessly integrated and any minor adjustments needed were carried out.

Our team worked meticulously to create the sleek, modern finish. The electric fire was strategically placed to create a captivating focal point visible from multiple angles in the room. The sound bar was also integrated within the unit, ensuring optimal acoustics and elevating the entertainment elements of the media unit. Above the sound bar we added an extendable Tv bracket to house the flat screen TV and behind the TV a shelf to hide the virgin media box.

Client Satisfaction

Upon completion, the client was delighted with the transformation of their living space. The bespoke media wall unit not only met but exceeded their expectations. The three sided fire added a captivating focal point, while the integrated sound bar delivered an immersive audio experience, enhancing their overall enjoyment of the space.
