Working from home
Our customer wanted to create a sleek and sophisticated safe haven providing them with the opportunity to work from the comfort of their own home. The design needed to include plenty of storage but also allow enough space to be able to work comfortably.
The design was to be centred around a stunning piece of art that they had recently acquired.
PROJECT BUILD & DETAILS
EVERY DETAIL COUNTS
Our trusty team designed, manufactured and installed a beautiful bespoke bookcase with matching wall panelling and a fitted desk featuring two pedestal’s and a toughened glass top.
The installation of the bookcase not only provides organisation for books of all shapes and sizes, but also provides space for other items such as picture frames, decorations or memorabilia to showcase.
Adding cupboards to the bookcase at a lower level creates the opportunity to hide any items/documents that needn’t/shouldn’t be on show.
The design of the desk, which have been sprayed to match the bookcase and wall panelling features different sized soft closing drawers. It also features a toughened glass table top reducing the possibility of any future damage to the product.
The desk has been positioned under the window seal allowing natural light to flood the room and create a view.
The wall panelling blends effortlessly into the bookcase.
The wall panelling also adds an extra layer of style, grace and functionality to the room. Not only can it be cleaned easily but It also protects the wall against any damage that may arise and adds an extra layer of insulation to the walls which contributes to extra soundproofing. The hanging of the art work completes the room
LET THERE BE LIGHT
We added customised stylish LED lighting to illuminate the inside of the bookcase giving the interior a more luxe look.
LED lighting adds ambience, emphasises your decor and saves energy reducing household bills.
The client had a range of colours to choose from but decided to go with the classic F&B Railings with Halifax Oak inside the carcass.
