BESPOKE HOME BAR – WREXHAM, WALES
OUR CUSTOMER BRIEF
Our customer approached us with a dream of creating a home bar that was more than just a functional space.
They envisioned a space where they could showcase their wine collection, mix cocktails, and create memorable experiences with loved ones.
During our initial consultations, it became clear that they appreciated modern design features but also desired warmth and comfort in their home.
Project Goals
The goal for this bar design was to create a modern look that still feels timeless and fits right in with the rest of the decor.
We made sure to include all the essentials for functionality, like a drinks fridge and wine racks, and used high-quality materials to keep it stylish and durable.
The result is a bar that’s both practical and a real eye-catcher!
the design
The bar’s design features Anthracite (RAL 7016) as the primary colour, adding a contemporary touch and creating a striking contrast with the room’s lighter elements. Walnut worktops, with their rich tones and beautiful grain patterns, introduce warmth and elegance, making the surface inviting for guests. To complement this, the internal carcass was finished in Natural Carni Walnut, enhancing the overall aesthetic while ensuring durability. For added functionality, a built-in drinks fridge keeps beverages chilled and easily accessible, and wine racks were strategically placed to display the wine collection, maximising space and adding a stylish touch.
Additionally, LED lighting illuminates the space, highlighting the beautiful craftsmanship and creating a vibrant ambiance. The sleek panelling on the front adds texture and visual interest to the design, while floating shelves made of walnut were added to the wall, providing extra storage and showcasing decorative items.
INSTALLATION
Once the CAD drawings were signed off by the customer, our team went to work on the construction of the home bar. The cut list was created and the materials needed were ordered.
Our skilled carpenters crafted each element, paying close attention to every detail. Once all elements were constructed, the home bar was assembled to check for any issues. We find this method minimises error and is less disturbing to our clients when installing.
Construction
The bar was constructed in our workshop, ensuring precision and quality control. Special attention was paid to the joinery and finishing touches to ensure a seamless final product.
The installation process involved two of our team members and took two days to complete.
The installation team carefully fitted the bar on-site, ensuring proper alignment and stability. The built-in drinks fridge and wine racks were integrated seamlessly into the design.
After installation, final adjustments were made to ensure functionality and aesthetics were on point. The bar was cleaned, and a final inspection was conducted to meet quality standards.
The completed bar not only meets but exceeds the client’s expectations.
This custom bar installation in Wrexham showcases the successful fusion of design and functionality. By carefully selecting materials and incorporating the customer’s preferences, we created a unique space that transformed their home into the perfect venue for entertaining. The project not only fulfilled the customer’s needs but also added significant value to their home.
