Bespoke dressing room – Guildford, Surrey

We recently designed, manufactured, and installed a fully bespoke dressing room for our customer in Guildford. This project combined luxury finishes with practical, everyday functionality, creating a space that feels both elegant and highly usable.

Project Overview

Our client wanted a dedicated dressing room that would maximise storage while creating a calm, high-end environment. We worked closely with them to design a layout that delivered generous wardrobe space, integrated lighting, and a stylish dressing area.

The finished room brings together rich timber textures, clean lines, and carefully considered details throughout.

Materials and Finish

We manufactured the cabinetry using Egger H3710 ST12 Natural Carini Walnut, which brings warmth and depth to the space with its natural grain and contemporary feel.

Key finish details include:

Spray painted elements at 20% sheen for a refined, durable finish

Colour matched to customer’s specification

Coordinated internal and external finishes for a luxury appearance

This combination creates a modern yet timeless result that complements the home’s interior.

Storage and Functionality

We designed the dressing room to provide exceptional storage capacity while keeping everything easily accessible and organised.

Features include:

19 drawer sets providing extensive storage for clothing and accessories

Heavy-duty hanging rails in each cabinet for strength and long-term durability

Custom wardrobe interiors tailored to the client’s specific needs

Every element supports daily use while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look.

Integrated LED Lighting

Integrated 12v LED strip lighting in each cabinet enhances both functionality and atmosphere.

This provides:

Clear visibility inside wardrobes

A soft, luxury ambience

A premium, high-end finish

The customer provided a switched electrical feed, allowing convenient control of the lighting.

Dedicated Dressing Area

In addition to the wardrobes, we installed a bespoke dressing table to create a comfortable and practical preparation space. This area complements the cabinetry and completes the room’s overall design.

The customer also incorporated a boiling water tap within the room, adding an extra level of comfort and convenience.
