Today, we are giving you a glimpse into the daily life of one of our valued team members, David.
Meet David – Carpenter
David joined Timber Technology in 2022 and has since become a valued member of our workshop team. With a passion for carpentry and a commitment to quality, David brings a steady hand and a sharp eye to every task, whether it’s in the workshop or out on site.
His day usually kicks off at 7:30 am ready to dive into the day’s plans. No two days are ever the same and that’s exactly what David loves about his job.
Life in the workshop
When he is in the workshop, David might be preparing a cut list, measuring materials, or building components for an upcoming installation. The space is always alive with movement, saws humming, timber being shaped, and the team working in sync to bring designs to life.
Whether it’s crafting bespoke staircases, media walls, or framing elements for larger builds, attention to detail is everything. David’s experience ensures precision and consistency at every step.
Out on site
On other days, David swaps the workshop for the site. Installation days are a different kind of challenge, working closely with the rest of the Timber Technology team to fit, assemble and finish the structures they’ve crafted in the workshop.
From carrying out complex builds to liaising with customers and ensuring everything is just right, David brings the same level of care and craftsmanship whether he’s indoors or outdoors.
